In The Hidden King, we explore the anointing of David in 1 Samuel 16 and discover a God who sees differently than we do—a God at work quietly, beneath the surface, bringing something new into being before anyone else can see it.
As we meet this unlikely king in Bethlehem, we will wonder what David’s hidden beginning might teach us about God’s way of working—and how his story begins to point us toward another shepherd king born in Bethlehem: Jesus.
