What does an ancient prophet have to say to us today?
Amos speaks into a world of prosperity and religious confidence—and asks uncomfortable questions about justice, violence, inequality, responsibility, and what it really means to belong to God. His words can be fierce, surprising, and sometimes difficult, but beneath them is a persistent call to return to the God who desires life for God's people and justice for the world.
In this Inspire Christian Formation series, we will journey through the Book of Amos together. Along the way, we’ll learn how to read the strange and beautiful poetry of the prophets, wrestle with difficult images of God, listen for the hope within Amos’s warnings, and ask what his vision of God’s justice and faithfulness might mean for our own lives and world.
