Today we continue wrestling with the hard teachings of Jesus. In the Temple, Jesus tells a story about two sons—one who says yes but does nothing, and another who says no but changes his mind. On this Orange Shirt Sunday, as we remember the legacy of residential schools and our commitment to reconciliation, Jesus' question is particularly challenging: Is it easier to say yes, or to “do” yes?
