Dear friends,
I am writing on behalf of the Trustees of the Parish of St. Mark – Ocean Park. Due to some unforeseen bills at the end of the year, and some foreseen but high insurance bills at the start of the year, the financial cushion in our checking account has flattened.
This means we do not have enough money in our checking account for payroll this month.
While the Trustees are looking into sourcing money from the bank (including cashing GICs with a penalty and beginning a Line of Credit), we are also looking to the members of the congregation for support at this time.
Your generosity will ensure we can get over this bump and help rebuild the financial cushion that ensures a healthy cash flow.
All donations are tax-deductible and will be added to your year-end receipt.
I understand that we are all living with increased financial stress. Any support is deeply appreciated.
Please keep the Trustees and the Treasurer of this Parish in your prayers as we face these financial hurdles. We want to continue to honour the faithfulness of those who came before us and set this Parish up for financial stability in the future.
With Love,
the Reverend David Taylor, Rector
