Today, on All Souls’ Sunday, we remember before God those whom we love but see no longer. We give thanks for their lives and entrust them to the everlasting love of God, trusting that in Christ even death cannot separate us from one another. Today we will read from our Book of the Dead, naming those who have died and remembering them in prayer as those who now dwell in God’s perpetual light. As their names are spoken among us once again, I wonder whose memory you carry with you today.
