Today is the Reign of Christ, the last Sunday of the Christian year. We celebrate Christ’s victory over darkness and death, remembering that God’s kingdom is established not through power or violence, but through love. As we prepare for Advent, we remember Julian of Norwich’s promise: “All shall be well, and all manner of things shall be well.” I wonder what it means to trust in that promise today.
