IT WAS A DARK AND STORMY NIGHT-spooky comedy at Surrey Arts Centre— 7:30 p.m. Friday, Oct. 7—lots of fun for all ages direct by Elli King—cost $18 per senior ticket— transportation will be arranged at extra cost if numbers warrant

BEETHOVAN AND THE BEATLeS-first of 3 Thursday morning concerts at the Surrey Arts Centre featuring a dynamic piano duo . Social at 10 a.m. , concert 11 a.m. till 12:15 p.m. cost for the 3 concerts—$44 per senior. Concert 2 os Dec. 8-CHRISTMAS FANTASIES with a violinist joining in; Concert 3—March23—THREE’S A CROWD with three pianists! To get the best deal we must order in early September!

BASKERVILLE: A SHERLOCK HOLMES MYSTERY(spoof)- Sunday, Oct. 16 at 4 p.m.-Surrey Arts Centre-the first of our 3 Arts Club Plays-there are a couple of spare tickets for this at a cost of $35. Bus transportation $20 per play. Leave the church by 2:45 p.m.

SALT SPRING AND CHEMAINUS BUS TRIP: Oct. 21-23-cost dependent on 2 sharing or private hotel rooms. includes, bus, ferries, 2 nights accommodation including breakfast, bus tour of Salt Spring Is. with a stop at quaint wool and souvenir shop with everything sheep where tea will be served, visit to Saturday market, Sunday buffet lunch and performance-HILDA’S YARD—at Chemainus Theatre. Extras are the group dinner at Salt Spring Island Inn on Friday night, lunches and Saturday night supper. There are 4 places left on Denny’ 24 passenger bus which we will be using-so sign up asap!

Denny’s LANGLEY CAPITOL BARBERSHOP CHORUS annual Remembrance Day concert at St. Marks-Sat. Nov. 5 at 2 and 7 p.m.—cost approx. $20 per senior and we usually attend the matinee.

WELSHMEN’S CHOIR CHRISTMAS CONCERT-TUES. DEC. 6, 7:30 P.M. Surrey Arts Centre—cost $25 per person

MUSICA INTIMA JOY TO THE WORLD-Sat. Dec. 17–3p.m.—St Philips Anglican Church, Vancouver-cost $27.11 per senior

Events outside the south Surrey area where 14 or more need transportation will cost $15 for Bell Centre, $20 for Surrey Arts Centre
