St. Mark Ocean Park Anglican Church in South Surrey BC seeks a part time (4-5 hours per week) Choir Director (Sept. to June). The position involves choosing the Sunday service music and anthems (in consultation with the music director),  a weekly 2 hour Wednesday night rehearsal (adult choir) to prepare the Sunday service music and a monthly anthem, a ½ hour children’s choir rehearsal after the service on Sunday morning, attend a regular Sunday morning worship service (10 am) and a few extra services at Christmas (e.g. Christmas Pageant music) and Easter. We pray that the person chosen to fill this position enjoys working with enthusiastic, but not professionally trained, singers who love to serve their Lord in the wonderful ministry of music (contemporary and traditional).   The closing date for applications is Dec. 10th.
