Children’s Ministry & Sunday School
We have a great program for children rooted in the love of Christ.
Vacation Bible School (VBS)
An annual one week fun program to teach children 5-12 about Jesus through stories, Bible Verse games, recreation, snacks and crafts.
We offer great fellowship for young families looking for a place to call home.
St. Mark’s Youth
Our youth group offers fun, exciting and inspirational events for the youth of the parish, aged 12-18.
Savvy Seniors Ministry
Our seniors engage in a wide range of social activities including outings to the symphony, theatres and evensong, movies, outdoor walks, board games and card games, and other entertainments.
Christian Studies Classes (Bible Study)
Small study groups meet regularly during the week.
Anglican Church Women (ACW)
Meets the second Tuesday of each month, in the Church Library from 2 to 4 pm. It’s a vital part of the Anglican Church. Local groups have the benefit of a structured program at the Diocesan and National level to draw on ideas and opportunity of service.
Meets the second Tuesday of each month in the Church Hall starting at 6:30pm. Provides a forum for spiritual growth and to discuss matters of parish interest and new projects.
Journey of Christmas
A two week presentation of the story of Christmas through 9 tableaux with costumed figures, sound and tour guides. Our expectation is that visitors will encounter the real meaning of Christmas and that they will encounter the living Jesus Christ who came to earth to die on a cross for us all.
Community Outreach Ministry
The Front Room Ministry has been operating for more than fifteen years. It has grown, from teams making sandwiches in the Church kitchen and serving them at the Front Room, to twelve outreach programs. It has become St. Mark’s principal outreach charity.
Our Prayer Shawl Ministry meets on the first Tuesday of each month, at 1:30 pm in the family room, to knit, chat and pray over our shawls.
Our Prayer Chain Ministry consists of men and women who (in their own way place and time) pray for the physical, emotional and spiritual concerns of our parish and community. In response to requests received by members of the chain.
In addition to our clergy, we have Home Eucharistic servers who can offer a communion of reserved sacrament in homes, or hospitals. We also take individuals to medical appointments if needed. After our morning services on Sunday the altar flowers are distributed to those who would appreciate them. We also have a team of visitors who visit shut-ins regularly in their homes. We ask that these visitors make the commitment to visit on a regular basis.
Get involved with our choir or praise team!
Meets the third Tuesday of each month. The guild supports the work and function of the parish and also supports various outreach programs within the community.
A large selection of Christian fiction and non-fiction is available for children and adults in the St. Mark’s library.
Contact the church office to inquire.
